Feeling Hungry? Please visit my website for air fryer & pressure cooker recipes, tips and inspiration.

All of our Tryck recipes are designed to be cooked in an electric pressure cooker. They have been carefully tested to ensure that they are safe and easy to make. However, it’s important to keep in mind that equipment can vary, so use the times as a guide.

In each of our recipes, you will find information about the cooking time, pressure/temperature (low, medium, or high), and the pressure release method (quick, pulse, or natural). This information is designed to help you get the best possible results from your pressure cooker.

When cooking grains and pulses, it can be tricky to get the timing just right. The key is to use the correct amount of fluid, and to be aware of your machine’s recommended minimum. For reference, we use the conversion 1 cup = 250ml.

Please note that all of our recipes are subject to change after testing. We are constantly working to improve and refine our recipes, and we may update them from time to time.

So why not try out one of the recipes today, and enjoy the delicious flavours and convenience of pressure cooking?

Happy cooking!

Why pressure cook?

Retain nutrients: Pressure cooking can help retain more nutrients in food compared to other cooking methods. Since the cooking time is reduced, fewer nutrients are lost during the cooking process.

Save time: Pressure cooking significantly reduces cooking time compared to traditional methods. The high heat and steam trapped inside the pressure cooker help cook food faster.

Save energy: Due to the reduced cooking time, pressure cooking can also save energy.

Enhance flavours: Pressure cooking helps retain the natural flavours of the ingredients. The sealed environment allows for better absorption of flavours and spices, resulting in tastier meals.

Tenderise tough cuts of meat: Pressure cooking is excellent for tenderising tough cuts of meat. The high pressure and controlled heat break down the connective tissues, resulting in tender and flavourful meat.

Preserve colours and textures: Pressure cooking helps preserve the colours and textures of fruits and vegetables, keeping them vibrant and crisp.

These are just a few of the benefits of pressure cooking. Incorporating pressure cooking into your cooking routine can provide you with nutritious and delicious meals in less time.
