Chris Lamb.
Developer & designer.

I’m a self-taught developer specialising in creating simple and practical mobile applications for both Apple iOS and Android devices. My journey began with learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which eventually led me to discover Adobe PhoneGap and Apache Cordova. These tools enabled me to transform my web applications into mobile apps.

One of my first projects was Shop Total, a personal project centered around a basic budgeting shopping list. This app not only allows users to list items but also provides the option to estimate prices for each item and helps users stick to a budget while shopping.

Inspired by my background in design, purchasing, and logistics for construction projects, I developed Paint Calc and Tile Calc. These apps originated from Excel spreadsheets I had created to generate estimates for paint and tile quantities. Over time, they evolved into the user-friendly apps available today.

Blood Pressure Log was created out of a personal need to track high blood pressure readings at home for 14 days, aiming to avoid inaccurate readings caused by white coat syndrome.

Tryck and Luft were born from my passion for cooking and kitchen gadgets. My pressure cooker and air fryer are essential tools in my kitchen, allowing me to prepare delicious meals quickly without compromising flavour, ultimately helping me save money in the process.

BP White Coat is my updated and redesigned version of BP Log, with the new functionality to time/date stamp and add notes for each reading, using your home monitor to avoid white coat readings.

Paint and Tile Projects were the evolution of my calculation apps with the options now to create projects and save them for later reference. Designed specifically to aid with building projects.

Run Countdown was created for a friend who requested an app which would guide through the training schedule and record progress for a 10k run.

Bus Arrival was created to simplify the TFL API, focusing on arrivals due at the bus stop you’re standing at. It now features a bus route checker and filter so the bus you want is the only one visible in the list.

Noise Diary is an app that combines an audio recorder with a diary to log dates and times for nightmare neighbors (which we have). A diary PDF can be sent with a link to uploaded audio files if evidence is requested by the local authorities. In addition the Image Diary app date and time stamps photos with GPS location data in a similar vein for evidence in context, like fly tipping, or illegal parking etc.

Pill Scheduler is a comprehensive drug and prescription tracker with reminders to take and re-order when running low. Useful for anyone with multiple drugs and doses to remember, like me.

Future Date is a fun app created to track the number of days until our next holiday in Crete 2026, but it can include birthdays and special events or even track the days since a specific date.
